My name is Nataliya Grishina. After receiving my M.D. in Russia, I graduated from the London Faculty of Homeopathy and became a Certified Classical Homeopath in the US.
Let me share with you how I became a homeopath. I graduated from medical school in 1995 and worked as an OB/GYN in a maternity hospital for five years. Just like other MDs, I used to perform operations and prescribe antibiotics and hormones. Generally I felt satisfied with conventional medicine, but after a particularly serious surgery I remember wondering – is this the only way to remove the uterus or ovaries? Moreover, I felt that the operation was a very traumatic and a rather violent intervention – to remove the uterus and ovaries from a woman, especially young woman. Even if the operation was performed smoothly and there were no complications in the postoperative period, I had an uneasy feeling after such a treatment.
I decided to try an alternative approach to my own health problems. I got serious migraines ever since medical school. Attacks returned every two weeks and made me unable to carry on with daily activities, from my practice as a doctor to housework.
A diclofenac injection was the only thing that helped, but after two or three weeks depending on the weather and stress factors, everything returned again. In time, the disease progressed: attacks occurred more often and became more intensive. Even mild attacks made me stay home, most of the time lying down.
Being an MD myself I used all the possibilities to get rid of my problem.
I saw a few known neurologists which examined my head with an MRI scan, but could not bring any relief. Painkillers prescribed by them did not produce any effect. A professor of neurology that teaches in one of best medical university in Moscow told me that my migraine is due to my bad inheritance and thus,” What do you expect? You should adjust to it! It will only get worse with time!” By the way, I do not have a family history of migraines.
One day I saw a lecture about classical homeopathy online. I was attracted by homeopathy’s holistic approach and eventually decided to try and consult a homeopathic physician about my migraine. In reality, I had little hope that homeopathy would help. But step by step, the constitutional remedy that the homeopath prescribed improved my condition. Attacks occurred less frequently and became less intense. The duration of attacks shortened to one day though sometimes I still needed a Diclofenac injection. It took about two years for my migraine to almost completely disappear under homeopathic treatment.
Now I get headaches very rarely and they are so mild that I can work and go on with my regular lifestyle. There is no longer need for Diclofenac. For me, this experience is the best evidence confirming the effectiveness of homeopathy. Even though the recovery took two years and was gradual though improvement started very soon, IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE FROM THE NEUROLOGY PROFESSOR’S POINT OF VIEW!
From that time, I dedicated myself to learning homeopathy. I graduated from the London Faculty of Homeopathy in 2004. In 2005, I attended Dr. Ajit Kulkarni clinical training and Dr.Prafull Vijaiakar lecture courses in India. In 2007 I attended Dr.Ajit Kulkarni and Dr. Narendra Mehta clinical training in India as well.
After such intensive training, I started my own homeopathic practice in Moscow in 2004. In addition, in 2006 I started working as classical homeopath in the very highly respected Children’s Hospital in Moscow. In 2009, our family moved to the US so I passed all the exams and got certified here as a Classical Homeopath. Recently, I started practicing homeopathy in US. I help patients in English and Russian in my Homeopathic Care Center & School of Homeopathy, Columbus, OH. It is a pleasure for me to help you improve your health with homeopathy in a natural way.
